Interior Design
The careful design of a new facility is
a critical step to the successful
outcome of any project. A good design will
not only meet the aesthetic interests of
the client, but should so in a cost effective,
space efficient and functional manner. Experience
has shown that there is true
value in clearly defining all material and
structural selections prior to construction
drawings going out to bid as each contractor
will be bidding "apples to apples".
A well thought out design will
save time, aggravation and dollars,
as well as enhance the corporate image and
improve employee morale and productivity.
Our nationally recognized interior design team has been involved in a wide variety of
projects such as: office, medical, restaurant, bed & breakfasts, historic renovation,
luxury day spas, mixed use, and residential projects.
Finish selections
What image does your company wish
to project? Do you want to portray
the image of a cutting edge, high tech leader
in your industry, or the classic style of the
stately, established law firm? Do these finishes
comply with OSHA guidelines? How do specific
finishes effect the monthly financial outlay?
These are some of the questions that need to
be brought forward prior to making any finish
selections. A facilities consultant does not
look at what makes the environment "pretty"
but instead what does that environment wish
to project. Information collected will assist
in the coordination of floor and wall coverings,
fabrics, paint finishes, countertop finishes,
wood stains and appropriate furniture styles.
Furniture selections
Again, many issues are examined
prior to selecting furnishings...budgets,
time lines, style, quality, specific use and
OSHA guidelines. The goal is to coordinate the
furniture selections within the given guidelines
and have the pieces warehoused locally and ready
for delivery upon receipt of the Certificate
of Occupancy.
Signage, art, plants & accessories
These details are often overlooked and when professionally coordinated can provide the details
needed to complete a successful project.
